paul and i started a mission a while back to search for another common hobby we can share. we've found one: guitar hero.
i'm not much of a gamer, actually. i have horrible hand-eye coordination, and i'm one of those people who jump with the controller, hoping my character will jump an extra couple of inches to avoid a fiery death in the lava pit (i usually do fall).
lucky for me, guitar hero requires no jumping. none. in fact, i play a little mini guitar-shaped controller, and pretend that i can actually play a real guitar. it's a sweet fantasy i indulge in for the couple hours. no one told me at age 5 that the electric guitar is a much cooler instrument than classical piano.
anyway, this week the second version of guitar hero came out.
what's so GREAT about a second guitar hero?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
i have total respect for a gamemaker who can put trogdor in the same category as freebird.

Welcome to the Guitar Hero cult. I got my entire extended family hooked on the game. My phone was off the hook last night as 7 different family members called me to update me on their own personal coolness.
As for the coolest feature of GH2? Encores.
