so i don't usually get excited about economists. i often skip the money sections of the paper and head straight for the celebrity gossip columns. but i often check the nytimes website for paul krugman's opinion column, despite its lack of juicy rumors and racy photos. so it's not surprising that the news of krugman's nobel prize is pretty exciting to me.
and besides, stephen colbert did a whole intro-rant on paul krugman tonight.
that tells me this is a big freakin' deal.
