like stuffing clowns in a tiny little car...

so i inspected paul's apartment this week, trying to figure out how all my stuff's going to fit into his TINY (teeny tiny TIIIIIINY) place.

i have no idea.
i'm already imagining the giant "toss" pile that is going to accumulate in front of the apartment dumpster.
speaking of getting rid of stuff... i have a free futon up for grabs if anyone wants it. all you have to do is come on may 17th and haul it away.

we did go to target today and got one of those bathroom organizers that go over the toilet. you know what i mean. i'm excited to finally have a place to put all my junk away. paul's a little astounded at the sheer volume of products that i possess, but hey... my apricot scrub is important to me.

all this domestic homemaking stuff is teaching me a very quick lesson in compromise. i'm so used to being able to go into a store and picking out whatever i like, it's a bit difficult to have to consult someone else before picking out stupid little things like... towel colors... and whether the bathroom organizer should be wood or chrome... or what to eat for dinner.
i think he's learning to compromise too.
he's got candles in his apartment!!!!!

anyway, i'm looking forward to moving back up to ithaca for the summer. eeek. it's happening in just over 3 weeks!!!
