so close... yet so far

so betty's posted on her journal site about the fact that she's done with law school.

FOREVER.

i'm going to be done with law school forever too in a matter of couple of days and it's starting to freak me out.

i mean, i'm glad.
of course i'm happy that i'm going to be leaving this awful place, but this is the first time since i was FOUR YEARS OLD that i won't be attending school full time.

that's a really long time...

i know that i'm unnerved by the situation because the first thing i did when i woke up (leisurely... at noon) wasw to call around for a hair appointment.
i've mentioned before that i like to cut my hair on a whim, whenever i feel horrible about something?
so that's what i did.
cut my hair.
to make myself feel un-horrible about some things.

luckily, the fancy salon on Coventry had an opening... (and not supercuts or great clips in some nasty strip mall).

so i went in and let the girl talk me into getting a chic layered haircut.

i don't look like i'm 16 anymore.
and i have zshuzy hair.
and i donated $5 to clean up the great lakes.
AND because i donated $5, i won a free haircut for a friend.

so it was a good day.
done a good deed.
made a friend happy.
got zshuzy hair.
