i don't know of many people who haven't visited the "Stuff White People Like" blog.
on monday night, i helped a couple of my white friends realize #71. (i don't count paul, because he's basically korean in his culinary knowledge at this point).
we went to a restaurant called Yechon in annandale, va (effectively, koreatown DC). there, we explored korean cuisine outside the realm of bulgogi, kalbi, bibimbap, and sushi (yes - a lot of koren restaurants serve sushi). it was glorious.
now i do appreciate a nice bowl of bibimbap now and then. and i'm happy to note that i found a street vendor on 14th and L who sells just that. 3 blocks from work, and a huge portion for under $7. it makes my work day just a little bit happier...
