my cousin had her baby boy today.
i'm super excited.
i'm old enough to appreciate a new baby around, but far enough away geographically to avoid witnessing the woes of parenthood.
yay for other people's babies.
bought a gift. ready to be sent.
it's a treasury of children's classics, like goodnight moon and harold and the purple crayon.
i figured her being fresh off the boat (yes... it's a term i use. i'm not trying to be derogatory) she'd appreciate some input on what american children read. or at least, paul says these are the books he read and was read to as a child.
(and yes, i also realize that newborns don't read no matter how smart they are).
it'll be a good chance for her and her baby to bond everyday. story time.
i love kids.
can't wait for the pictures!

no - she's my mom's niece.
strange enough, though, she's at stanford right now with her husband. haha.
